In 2014, while shooting for Maharana Pratap, we stayed on set in Amgaon throughout Ramadan. It was a beautiful experience celebrating back then. Everyone used to gather during iftar, around 70 to 80 people. Whatever we requested, they prepared. It was a warm and communal atmosphere.”
Reem, on the other hand, reflected on her personal spiritual journey and how it has transformed her over the years. Sharing her story, she said, “Had you met me four years ago, I was a different person. Now, I have changed completely. I was lost, but Allah guided me to the right path. Many things happened in my life that I will remember till my last breath. Coming from an inter-religious family, I was never forced to adapt to anything—neither by my parents nor by anyone else. For me, belonging to a family that gave me my own identity is important. To die as a Muslim will be a blessing for me.”
