Mannat Cornered as Mallika Wins Sympathy Over Dadu’s Tragic Death

Colors TV serial Mannat is witnessing a noticeable drop in TRP ratings. While this decline may seem disappointing, it is far from surprising. In fact, many viewers had already predicted this outcome due to the show’s increasingly formulaic storytelling and lack of impactful twists.

To begin with, Mannat has fallen into the same trap as many other Indian television dramas. Villains repeatedly commit serious mistakes, yet they are forgiven without consequence. This pattern has become glaringly obvious in the recent episodes. For instance, Aishwarya—once portrayed as the central antagonist—has suddenly been transformed into a misunderstood heroine. Meanwhile, Mannat, the titular character, is being vilified despite her consistent moral compass.

Dadu’s Tragic Death in Mannat

In the upcoming episodes, a major turning point will occur. Dadu, a respected elder in the household, will attempt to call the police to have Aishwarya arrested. However, during a scuffle where Aishwarya tries to snatch the phone, Dadu will suffer a head injury and collapse. This incident will trigger a wave of emotional reactions.

Mallika, who at least considers Dadu her grandfather, will break down in tears. She will plead with her mother, Aishwarya, asking why she did such a thing. Urgently, she will beg her to call an ambulance, as Dadu remains unresponsive. Yet, Aishwarya’s focus will remain solely on self-preservation. Her priority will be to escape blame, not to save Dadu.

Mannat Witnesses the Crime

Most likely, Mannat will witness the entire incident. In response, Aishwarya will send her goons to silence Mannat. Simultaneously, she will orchestrate a situation that brings Vikrant and other family members to the godown. As a result, everyone will assume that Aniruddh and Mannat are responsible for Dadu’s death.

This manipulation will paint Mallika as the innocent victim. She will be shown crying over Dadu’s demise and will even be kidnapped, further cementing her image as a helpless daughter. Consequently, the chances of Aishwarya and Mallika being exposed are slim. Since a death has occurred, the narrative will likely favor their version of events.

The illegal marriage storyline was a major misstep. Viewers were teased with the possibility of a Manvik wedding, only to be handed Vikilla instead—clearly a decision driven by the male lead’s popularity and on-screen chemistry. Despite this, fans continued to support the show, hoping for redemption.

Although TRPs fluctuate, the overall vibe of the show has undeniably declined. No matter how many new tracks are introduced, unresolved old ones continue to drag the storyline. Multiple crimes have been committed without any resolution. Viewers are urging the makers to maintain a balance between good and evil.

Mannat is at a critical juncture. The show must evolve beyond its current loop of recycled drama and emotional manipulation. Viewers are demanding accountability, closure, and a fresh direction. If the makers truly wish to revive interest, they must take bold steps—starting with giving Mannat the justice and agency she deserves.
