Actor Manasi Salvi has finally broken her silence. After weeks of speculation surrounding her sudden exit from Mahadev & Sons, she has revealed a series of serious allegations against producer Saurabh Tewari of Parin Multimedia.
Manasi’s Exit Announcement
To begin with, Manasi stated that she formally emailed both the producer and the Colors TV network, declaring her intention to leave the show by May 15. However, she claims she received no immediate response. Instead, she alleges that the producer repeatedly sent her voice notes and messages, insisting that the channel did not want her and that he alone was “fighting for her.”
Furthermore, Manasi accused the producer of manipulating her into believing the network was against her. She revealed that for nearly seven months her schedule was irregular, her screen time was minimal, and her professional commitments were poorly managed. According to her, this created unnecessary stress and confusion.
Conflicting Emails and Contract Dispute
Later, she received an official email from the production house thanking her for her contribution and confirming her exit by May 15. Yet, on May 1, she was shocked to receive another email retracting the earlier communication and claiming her old contract was being renewed. Manasi’s legal team immediately dismissed this as “not tenable in law” and declared the renewal invalid. Since then, she alleges, the producer has failed to respond.
Consequently, Manasi has now filed a defamation case against the producer. She accuses him of distorting facts and attempting to malign her reputation through selective media narratives. In addition, she highlighted a larger industry issue: actors are often contracted for 26 exclusive working days but utilized far less, while still being restricted from taking other projects.
Finally, Manasi asserted her professional integrity. She emphasized that she has always respected contractual norms, maintained clear boundaries, and is prepared to present documented evidence against any false allegations. Her statement underscores her determination to fight back legally and protect her reputation.
