In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anshuman unexpectedly arrives at Abhira’s house. Only to find it plunged in darkness due to a power cut. Despite the uncomfortable situation, Dadi Sa and Vidya try their best to hide the condition of the house and the ongoing electricity issues. They even extend warm hospitality by inviting Anshuman to stay for a meal. Abhira, although hesitant, quickly prepares food for him and serves it with quiet reluctance. This sets the stage for a surprisingly endearing scene as Anshuman slowly begins to bond with the family, especially Abhira.
Abhira and Anshuman’s Sweet and Sour Moments Over Tinde
Things take a humorous turn when Anshuman tastes Abhira’s homemade tinde (apple gourd) and praises them so enthusiastically that Abhira becomes suspicious. She thinks he’s overacting and is clearly not impressed. Caught up in the moment, Anshuman grabs her hand and jokingly says he feels like kissing her hand to thank her. Abhira, annoyed and startled, pushes him away, making him realize he took the joke too far. She scolds him harshly, questioning why he’s reacting like he just tasted a five-star meal when all he ate was tinde. The light-hearted tension adds a spark of chemistry between the two characters.

Just as things calm down, Dadi Sa and Vidya arrive with ice cream for Anshuman, but he’s already too shaken by Abhira’s fiery words to stay. Giving awkward excuses, he rushes out, leaving everyone puzzled. Abhira, unbothered, grabs the ice cream for herself and begins eating it, only to launch into another rant. She criticizes her family for inviting Anshuman as if they were hosting a grand feast, when in reality, all they had were tinde. She sarcastically suggests that they should quit their saree business and start farming tinde instead. Dadi Sa, always ready to tease, plays along with the idea just to annoy her further.
