In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira tells Armaan the truth about his mother, Shivani. Armaan senses that Abhira is in trouble, and without wasting any time, he rushes to find her. When he finally spots her, she is sitting on a bench in a distressed and devastated state, crying uncontrollably. Seeing her like this, Armaan panics.
He immediately asks her what has happened, why she is behaving this way, why she is crying, and why she is sitting in the middle of the street. In a shaky voice, Abhira tells him that his mother, Shivani, is alive.
As soon as Armaan hears this, the ground beneath him seems to shatter. He is left completely stunned, unable to process what Abhira just said. He had never imagined that he would ever get a chance to meet his mother in this lifetime. Abhira gives him this good news, but it is so overwhelming that Armaan breaks down right there on the street.
Abhira consoles Armaan
Seeing him in this state, Abhira tries to console him. She even brings a shawl from his car, which is very important to him, and wraps it around him. She holds him close, trying to comfort him. Then, she assures him that he can cry his heart out, just like she did when she first learned that she had a family—the Goenkas.
Just as Abhira was comforted back then, she now comforts Armaan by letting him rest in her lap while he cries, releasing all the emotions he had held inside for so long.
Finally, they gather themselves and set out for Shivani’s house. There, the long-awaited reunion between Armaan and his mother, Shivani, takes place. Abhira stands aside, silently watching as the two embrace, lost in their moment of love and longing.
