In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, emotions run high as Abhira finally confronts Armaan about his devastating betrayal. After years of pain and confusion, she reaches Mount Abu with Anshuman to demand answers about his deceit.
As Armaan tries to justify his actions, Abhira lashes out with fury. Not only did he hide the truth about Pookie—now known as Maira—but he also denied her the chance to reunite with her daughter. Despite his attempts to explain, Abhira’s anger explodes, and she slaps Armaan across the face. Armaan stands shocked, but deep down, he knows he deserves it.
Abhira reminds Armaan of the life they could’ve had. She speaks of a happy family destroyed by his obsession and stubbornness. Because of him, a mother was forced to live without her child, and a daughter grew up without her mother’s love.
Abhira shows Armaan a photo of Maira—emphasizing how incomplete their family has been because of his wrong decisions. Not only did he fail seven years ago, but even after seeing the growing bond between Abhira and Maira, he still chose silence. Abhira had waited, searched, and yearned for her daughter. And yet, Armaan let her suffer.
Abhira enters Maira’s old home, where she sees memories frozen in time. Childhood tokens and cherished items remind her of everything she missed. The realization sinks in. Her heartbreak spills into uncontrollable tears. For years, she had blamed herself—never Armaan—for losing Pookie. Even when Armaan returned and saw her with Maira, he didn’t tell the truth.
With Geetanjali Dadu and Anshuman present, Abhira finally lets herself cry. Anshuman tries to comfort her, but she refuses. She says these tears must flow—because Armaan has betrayed her not once, but twice. He took away the very daughter she had sworn to protect and left her to carry the guilt.
Soon, Armaan prepares to send Maira with Abhira, packing her bags with a heavy heart. However, in upcoming episodes, things won’t go smoothly. While traveling with Abhira and Anshuman, Maira will feel Armaan’s absence so deeply that she’ll jump out of the car in distress. Later, in Udaipur, she will continue to miss him and Geetanjali, struggling to form a mother-daughter bond with Abhira.
Because of Maira’s emotional turmoil, Armaan and Geetanjali will return to Udaipur once again. Their goal is to help Maira adjust and settle with Abhira. Yet, the emotional baggage between these characters still lingers—and reconciliation won’t come easily.
