Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s emotional Vrindavan visit

Team India’s star batter Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma once again turned to spirituality. Recently, the couple visited Premanand Ji Maharaj at his Ashram Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj, located at Varah Ghat in Vrindavan. Their visit was not just a casual stop; it was a heartfelt spiritual journey that reflected their deep devotion.

Virat And Anushka’s Spiritual Encounter

In a widely shared video, Virat and Anushka were seen engaging in an intimate spiritual conversation, known as Ekantik Vartalaap, with Premanand Ji Maharaj. The video, posted by Bhajan Marg’s official Instagram account, captured Maharaj Ji advising the couple to treat their professional work as service to God. He urged them to remain humble, stay serious in their pursuits, and chant the divine name with sincerity. His words carried a profound message: “Apne karyakshetra ko bhagwan ka seva samajhiye. Gambhir bhav se rahiye. Vinamra rahiye. Aur khub naam jap kijiye.”

Emotional Moments in the Ashram

Despite the biting winter cold, Virat and Anushka sat on the ground with tilak on their foreheads, listening attentively to Maharaj Ji’s discourse. Their humility was evident. Anushka became emotional during the session, and tears were clearly visible in her eyes. Virat, on the other hand, nodded in agreement at every point, almost like a child absorbing wisdom from a teacher.

Premanand Ji Maharaj explained the deeper meaning of life. He reminded them that true happiness lies not in worldly pleasures but in seeking refuge in God. He emphasized that one must carry a desire in the heart to have a vision of the Supreme Being, the eternal father.

Anushka’s Heartfelt Words

Amidst the discourse, Anushka Sharma expressed her emotions by saying, “We belong to you, Maharaj Ji.” In response, Premanand Ji smiled and gently reminded her, “We all belong to Shri Ji. We are all under His protection, we are all His children.” This exchange created a moment of profound spiritual connection, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

This was not the couple’s first visit to Vrindavan. In fact, it marked their third trip to Premanand Ji Maharaj’s ashram this year alone. Earlier in January, Virat and Anushka, along with their children, visited the ashram to seek blessings. Later, in May, they returned again, just a day after Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket. These repeated visits highlight the strong spiritual bond the couple shares with Maharaj Ji.

Choosing Spirituality Over Glamour

Interestingly, their visit came at a time when the country was buzzing with excitement over Lionel Messi’s trip to India. While many celebrities were eager to meet the football legend, Virat and Anushka chose a different path. Instead of chasing glamour, they prioritized inner peace and spiritual guidance. Their decision to seek blessings in Vrindavan became a topic of discussion across social media.

Virat Kohli’s Cricket Commitments

Although Kohli has embraced spirituality, his cricketing commitments remain strong. The 37-year-old continues to play ODIs and participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He recently returned from India’s three-match ODI series against South Africa, which concluded on December 6. After spending time in the UK with Anushka and their children, Vamika and Akaay, Kohli is now preparing for domestic cricket.

Starting December 24, he will feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, representing Delhi. However, he is expected to play only a few matches before joining Team India for the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand, scheduled to begin on January 11.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s journey beautifully blends faith with professional life. On one hand, they continue to fulfill their responsibilities in cricket and cinema. On the other, they regularly seek spiritual guidance to remain grounded. Their visits to Premanand Ji Maharaj’s ashram show that even amidst fame and success, they value humility, devotion, and inner peace.
