Rashmika and Vijay Wedding Moments

Love stories in cinema often remain on screen, but sometimes they blossom into reality. That is exactly what happened with Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, who after seven years of keeping their relationship private, finally tied the knot in Udaipur on February 26, 2026. Their union, fondly named The Wedding of Virosh, was nothing short of magical.

To honour both heritages, the couple celebrated with two ceremonies. First, a traditional Telugu Hindu wedding, paying tribute to Vijay’s roots. Then, a Kodava wedding ceremony, honouring Rashmika’s family traditions. This dual celebration beautifully symbolised the merging of two cultures, two families, and two hearts.

The Wedding Day Elegance

Rashmika stunned in a custom rust-orange silk saree with a red and antique gold border, designed by Anamika Khanna. Vijay Deverakonda looked regal in an ivory dhoti paired with a vermillion red angavastram. Together, they reminded fans of Lord Rama and Sita, radiating grace and divinity.

Rashmika’s Mehendi and Pradhanam Evening

On February 25, the couple hosted their Mehendi and Pradhanam ceremonies, choosing outfits from designer Karan Torani’s label Torani. Vijay described the evening as “an evening most fun, an evening that was lived fully, an evening I wish had a 100 more hours in it.” Rashmika shared her joy, calling it “too perfect but it went off too fast.” The photographs from this evening captured laughter, family bonds, and the couple’s undeniable chemistry.

Pradhanam is a traditional Telugu engagement ceremony. It involves: Families formally announcing the marriage alliance. The groom’s family presenting clothes, jewellery, and gifts to the bride. Priests performing Vedic rituals and prayers. For Rashmika and Vijay, it marked the official blessing of their families and the joyful beginning of wedding festivities.

Vijay revealed how he knew Rashmika was the one:
“One day, I missed her… in a way that made me feel like my day would’ve been better if she were around. Like my meals would’ve felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me. Like my workouts would’ve been more fun if she were doing them with me. Like I needed her – just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was. So, I made my best friend… my wife.”

The Wedding of Virosh

The couple named their marriage The Wedding of Virosh, a nod to their cinematic journey. They first worked together in Geeta Govindam, a blockbuster that made them household names. Later, they reunited in Dear Comrade (2019), where rumours of their romance began. Years later, those whispers turned into a reality that fans celebrated with immense joy.

From the grandeur of ITC Mementoes in Udaipur to the intimate family moments, every detail of Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding reflected love, tradition, and togetherness. Their wedding pictures broke the internet, and their Mehendi album added yet another chapter to this fairytale.

The Wedding of Virosh was more than just a celebrity wedding. It was a celebration of culture, family, and love that stood the test of time. Rashmika and Vijay’s journey from co-stars to soulmates is proof that sometimes, destiny writes the most beautiful scripts.

We wish the newlyweds a lifetime of joy, laughter, and endless togetherness.
