Orry in Legal Fire for Alcohol Incident at Vaishno Devi

Authorities have accused social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, widely known as Orry, of consuming alcohol in a highly sensitive and sacred area. The police have filed an FIR against Orry and eight others for their actions at a hotel in Katra, the base camp for the holy Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.

The hotel prohibits alcohol consumption because of the area’s religious significance. The incident occurred during their stay. Katra, being the gateway to the revered shrine, upholds stringent rules banning alcohol, tobacco, and non-vegetarian food. Authorities allegedly caught Orry and his companions indulging in alcohol in their room. The group included six Indian nationals and a Russian citizen, disregarding the rules.
