Following Mukul’s passing, his brother, actor Rahul Dev, shared a heartfelt statement. In an Instagram story, Rahul wrote, “Our brother Mukul Dev passed away peacefully at New Delhi last night. He’s survived by his daughter Sia Dev. Missed by siblings Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev and nephew Sidhant Dev. Please join us for cremation at 5 pm.”

Although Rahul did not disclose the cause of Mukul’s death, reports indicate that the actor had been unwell for several days. His health worsened, leading to hospitalization and admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who worked with Mukul in Son of Sardaar, confirmed the tragic news. Expressing his grief, he said, “After his parents’ death, Mukul was keeping to himself. He wouldn’t step out or meet anyone. His health deteriorated, and he was hospitalized in the last few days. My condolences to his brother and everyone who knew and loved him. He was an amazing person, and we will all miss him.”
