Vikrant and Malla’s growing closeness is tearing Mannat apart. Every moment, she watches them together, and her heart breaks a little more. Vikrant seems determined to make Mannat express her feelings, but his methods are hurting her deeply. His recent actions may even push her away for good.
Malla had been waiting for an opportunity to get close to Vikrant, and now she has one. She suddenly stands near him, catching him off guard. Vikrant wonders what is happening, but Malla signals toward Mannat, who is watching them. He quickly plays along with Malla’s scheme. Malla enjoys every second of it, while Vikrant goes along just to make Mannat jealous. However, instead of just jealousy, Mannat feels an overwhelming pain.
As Vikrant and Malla discuss their wedding vows, Vikrant keeps his eyes on Mannat. Yet, his arms hold Malla. To make things worse, they ask her to take pictures of them together. Her heart shatters completely, but she does as they ask. Just then, Aishwarya’s phone call interrupts Malla. She leaves to answer it, and Vikrant approaches Mannat.
Vikrant asks Mannat once again how she feels. He moves so close that she cannot push him away. He gently drapes her chunni over her head, as if performing the first ritual of their wedding. His tenderness makes her forget everything for a moment. She lets herself feel the love he is showing. But then reality hits her—Vikrant has humiliated her. He has moved on with Malla.
As Vikrant starts to leave, they have a brief argument. Mannat accuses his mother, and Vikrant reminds her of the serious allegations she has made. Despite that, he tells her he still came to her. She did not come to him. Mannat counters by saying that she had once knelt before him and publicly declared her trust in him. She knew he believed in her, too. Yet, he broke that trust in front of everyone.
The argument intensifies, and they blame each other again. Vikrant refuses to stop trying to get close to Mannat. However, his relationship with Malla is pushing her away. Malla knows this and takes full advantage. If Vikrant lets things get out of control, he may reach a point where canceling his wedding with Malla is no longer an option.
