Vikrant is playing with fire. He keeps scolding Mannat, hoping to surprise her later with his proposal. But will his plan work? Right now, Mannat is focused on her task—baking a cake. She is in the kitchen, carefully preparing it. However, Vikrant cannot leave her alone.
Already frustrated, Mannat questions Vikrant’s presence. She asks if he has come to scold her again. Vikrant, on the other hand, watches her anger but remains silent. He tells her to quiet down, yet she refuses. Then, suddenly, he picks up a chopstick. Gently, he gathers her flowing hair, knowing he has always been obsessed with them. As he moves closer to her, Mannat’s words falter. Her heart, too, begins to feel something for Vikrant.
As Vikrant sets Mannat’s hair romantically, both find themselves lost in each other’s eyes. They are nearly about to kiss. But just then—an interruption! Vikrant’s mother walks into the kitchen. Stunned, Vikrant quickly shifts to defense mode. He starts scolding her again, questioning how she could make a cake with her hair open. If her hair falls into the cake, it would be unhygienic! Without hesitation, he hands her a chef’s cap and insists she wear it.
Furthermore, in his eagerness to impress his mother, Vikrant overdoes his instructions. He tells Mannat exactly how everything should be arranged. Frustrated, Mannat grows more upset. Then, while giving her directions, Vikrant casually mentions that she should also wear better clothes. But why does he care about her outfit?
Mannat asks him exactly that. Vikrant, trying to justify his request, tells her that she will be presenting the cake to the guests. Therefore, she should look good. Right at that moment, Mallika enters. Vikrant compares Mannat to Mallika, explaining how well-dressed Mallika always is. He suggests Mannat should follow the same example.
Although Vikrant’s intentions may have been good, his comparison deeply hurts Mannat. She does not appreciate it at all. Now, the real question remains: will Vikrant’s carefully planned proposal succeed? Or will Mallika take advantage of the situation and create more distance between Vikrant and Mannat?
