Star Plus is gearing up to launch a fresh romantic drama with Maira Mehra, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi, under the banner of Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment. Produced by Pradeep Kumar and Rajesh Ram Singh, the show promises a compelling clash of personalities and ideologies.
The teaser introduces viewers to Khushi and Krishna—two leads with starkly different worldviews. Khushi, guided by virtue and righteousness, always walks the straight path. In contrast, Krishna embraces change and adapts to varied lifestyles without hesitation. Together, they represent two opposing worlds destined to collide.
Meanwhile, Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment continue to ride high on the success of Jhallee, which recently premiered on Dangal. The show stars Pratham Kunwar and Apeksha Malviya, with Isha Kaloya playing a pivotal role.
Now, in an exciting development, Maira Dharti Mehra has been confirmed as the female lead of Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi. Maira, who previously headlined Sony SAB’s Dalchini, rose to fame with her performance in Pandya Store on Star Plus. Her return to the channel marks a promising reunion with the audience.
Opposite her, Manjeet Makkar will take on the male lead. Known for his role in Colors TV’s Parineetii, Manjeet brings a fresh energy to the show’s dynamic pairing.
