Hollywood actor, Ryan Reynolds has yet again stated his fondness for Ranveer Singh. The Hollywood actor stated that, like many others in India, he would like to enter Ranveer’s DMs (private messages).
Ryan recently collaborated with Rob McElhenney on the Disney+ Hotstar series Welcome to Wrexham, which follows their journey to becoming partners and acquiring control of the National League football club Wrexham AFC. Their journey to becoming business partners had begun with a DM (direct message).
In the latest interview session with India Today, both the lead actors, Ryan and Rob were asked to name any Indian actor whose DM they would like to slip into.
While Rob stated that he would not take any names because his wife Kaitlin Olson would be watching the interview, Ryan did not waste any time in naming Ranveer Singh.
Ryan said, “Ranveer Singh for me,” prompting Rob to tell, “He will be the Ryan Reynolds of India, would he not, and vice versa.” Ryan responded modestly, “I’m not sure if I’m Ranveer Singh. I’m making an effort.”
According to the India Today report, Ryan also stated about sliding into Ranveer’s DMs, “I’m pretty sure everyone in India wants to do it too,” stated Ryan.
Ranveer and Ryan had earlier engaged in online banter after the latter lent his voice to the actor’s character in the Hindi dub of Deadpool 2.
