Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin

Since 2020, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has captured the hearts of television viewers across India. The show consistently held high ratings and developed a loyal fan base. However, 2025 has not been kind to the long-running drama.

Earlier this year, the makers took a bold step. They implemented a generation leap, aiming to refresh the narrative and spark new interest. This shift introduced three new leads—Param Singh, Vaibhavi Hankare, and Sanam Johar. At the same time, fan-favorite characters Savi and Rajat, played by Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj respectively, were written out of the storyline.

Unfortunately, the transition didn’t land as intended. The new cast failed to resonate with the audience. As a result, the show saw a steep drop in its ratings.

To salvage the situation, the producers made several strategic moves. First, they scripted the death of Vaibhavi Hankare’s character, Tejaswini, hoping this twist would boost engagement. Then came multiple changes to the show’s time slot. However, none of these decisions yielded positive results.

In a last-ditch effort to revive the show, Bhavika Sharma returned to the cast as Savi. Fans celebrated her re-entry, and she was paired with Param Singh’s character, Neil. While expectations ran high, the ratings continued to plummet.

Despite all the efforts—dramatic plot turns, character deaths, and time slot reshuffling—Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin struggles to regain its former glory. Viewers appear unconvinced by the post-leap direction, and the show is still searching for a storyline that clicks.

Moving forward, it remains to be seen whether the creators can reclaim audience attention or if the show will need an even more dramatic transformation to stay afloat. For now, the drama’s future hangs in the balance.
