Colors TV’s popular serial Mannat delivered yet another dramatic twist during the Janmashtami celebrations. Once again, Mallika found herself humiliated, while Mannat and Vikrant stole the spotlight — both spiritually and romantically.
To begin with, Mallika was assigned the task of preparing the Janmashtami prasad. However, she failed miserably. Her inability to cook set the stage for Mannat and Vikrant to step in. Not only did they take charge of the prasad preparation, but they also shared several flirtatious moments in the kitchen. Their playful banter and cute chemistry added a romantic flavor to the festive atmosphere.
As the puja commenced, the priest requested a devotional bhajan. Mallika volunteered and appeared confident. However, things quickly unraveled. She wasn’t actually singing — she was lip-syncing to a pre-recorded track. Midway through the bhajan, the recording glitched and stopped. The truth was exposed. Everyone realized Mallika had been faking it.
Neetu seized the opportunity to question Mallika’s presence and demanded to know why Mannat wasn’t singing instead. Right on cue, Mannat entered the scene. She sang the bhajan in her soulful voice, instantly winning over the priest and the entire family. Her genuine devotion and talent impressed everyone. Consequently, she was chosen to perform the main puja alongside Vikrant.
Mallika, already frustrated by her repeated failures, couldn’t handle the praise Mannat received. Her jealousy intensified. Earlier, she had approached Aishwarya, seeking emotional support. Aishwarya acknowledged Mallika as her daughter, but Mallika responded bitterly, accusing her of remembering the relationship only when convenient.
Meanwhile, a new threat looms. Aishwarya is on the verge of being kidnapped. Aniruddh, whose public image was shattered by Aishwarya’s revelations, is determined to take revenge. As tensions rise, Mannat and Vikrant will join forces to uncover Aishwarya’s whereabouts and rescue her.
